The AyurPrana Listening Room was constructed within the walls of a former church and built to compliment and expand upon the natural acoustics of the room by way of fresh audio equipment and extraordinary sound treatment.

  • We are a cashless venue. 
  • You can park in our adjacent lot on Swannanoa Ave. It is free.
  • No outside food or drink is allowed in the venue.
  • We are an alcohol free venue. We have a variety of locally made beverages including Shanti Elixir Jun. We do not serve food.
  • Tickets can be purchased online or at the door at the time of the show. We do not have box office hours.
  • Doors open one hour before event unless otherwise stated on ticket link.
  • Events are both seated and standing, depending on the artist. Please do not rearrange the seating setup, and make sure to keep the aisles clear.
  • Children are welcome, unless otherwise stated on ticket link. We ask that parents are sensitive to the intimate nature of the venue and our commitment to providing an attentive and quiet audience for the artists. Tickets are required for children, except infants.
  • We are handicap accessible. The ramp and side entrance are next to our deck on Swannanoa Ave. Please call us upon arriving at (828) 785-5228 and knock on the door for admittance.
  • We do not offer refunds.
  • Pets are not allowed in the venue.
  • Please be sensitive and avoid excessive use of cell phones during performances. Also, please refrain from using photo or video cameras, besides phones, without the express consent of the venue and artist. 
  • Ticketing for all Candlelight Concerts is handled by FeverUp. Please direct all inquiries to hello@feverup.com. Also, note that doors close for Candlelight Concerts 10 minutes after show time.

Afro-Harping
The groove-heavy and soulful 1968 album Afro-Harping is set to see a deluxe reissue at the end of the month, reinvigorating the career of jazz legend Dorothy Ashby, who may not be a household name but this prolific artist has become highly influential in contemporary fusion, ambient, spiritual jazz and hip hop – with this album, in particular, being sampled by Kendrick Lamar, J Dilla, and Madlib to name a few.

Six Organs of admittance

Time is Glass
Inspired by the East-meets-West solo guitar musings of John Fahey and Robbie Basho, Northern California guitarist Ben Chasny has built a prolific and diverse body of work under the name Six Organs of Admittance. An experimental amalgam of new folk, drone music, percussion, chimes, and strange textures, Chasny delivered an outpouring of eclectic releases in the early 2000s for various small labels before finding a longstanding home on Drag City, where he issued highlights like 2006’s Sun Awakens and 2012’s Ascent. He later developed a card-based creative system called a Hexadic for making music and released several related albums before resuming his primary project with new work like 2021’s The Veiled Sea.
